Hey there! I’m Skye (she/her), the creative mind (and photographer) behind FromEden. I am an empowerment and ceremony photographer who specialises in Queer Empowerment photography, capturing beautiful stories of connection in all shapes and sizes.
My goal is to empower individuals and groups, making everyone feel confident and celebrated through portraits, boudoir, and ceremonies. Let’s create something special together!
I’m a South Wales-based photographer with a passion for celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. Since 2014, I’ve been dedicated to capturing the incredible stories and moments that make each person uniquely beautiful, inside and out. I believe everyone deserves to see themselves in a positive light, and I love empowering individuals and groups to embrace their true selves.

What should we wear for our session?
This depends entirely on what we discuss during our consultation and the pre-session coffee and connect, and what would align with your vision. Some people prefer to 'come as they are,' wearing the outfit that feels most like them. Otherwise, they may have a specific theme in mind and be purchasing an outfit especially for the session. We are more than happy to help with your vision and goals.
We also recommend having a couple of options to consider for your empowerment session, whether this is portrait or boudoir. This gives you more photo options and looks and the chance to explore further how this empowers you. Any questions or concerns, we'll answer them and guide you during our consultation process.
How do I book a session with From Eden Photography?
To book your empowerment session or ceremony coverage, all you need to do is fill out our 'Contact Us' form. We will then call you to go through your vision, answer any questions, and provide any information you need.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, which ensures that the date you have in mind is reserved exclusively for you. The remaining balance is then due 7 days before your session.
Do you photograph polyamory and non-monogamy love ceremonies?
At FromEden, we're polyamory and ethical non-monogamy-friendly! Love comes in all shapes and sizes, and numbers. As we specialise in Queer and Alt ceremonies, we understand that the intersection of ENM and polyamory is more common, and we welcome the honour of capturing all the love you and your lovers have, whether that is two people, three, or more.
It also does not need to be a traditional marriage; we would be delighted to capture your bonding, handfasting, ring exchanges and unity blending, and any other commitment event that resonates with you and your lover(s)

Can someone accompany me during my empowerment session?
Yes! In fact, if this will make you feel more comfortable and safe, we want you to. Any photographer should aim to make you feel safe and secure. All we ask is that the person who accompanies you has a positive mindset and doesn't impede your vision for empowerment.
